A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley. Trailforks scans ridelogs to determine which trails are ridden the most in the last 9 months. The soil is rocky, the switchbacks steep, and fitness is a good thing to have. If you do not have good fitness you may have to push some sections. This is a challenging trail that traverses along the slopes of Ehagay Nakoda Range. Boring. Couple of fun tech features. At the first junction, about 1.5K up from Quarry, the main trail heads east and follows the natural contour of the slope all the way to a fun descent into the Peaks of Grassi residential area.
